Supporting SNIPEF Members through technical inspections
January 28, 2026
As part of SNIPEF membership, all member businesses receive a Technical Support Inspection every three years. This inspection is designed to provide practical support and professional guidance, helping members ensure their work aligns with current building regulations and industry standards.
The inspection is not an audit, but a supportive process focused on continuous improvement. Our Technical Advisors provide on-the-job coaching and practical advice where required, helping members interpret and apply regulatory requirements in real working environments. Where any non-conformities are identified, these are clearly highlighted so they can be addressed and rectified, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulations and best practice.

Our Technical Team will contact members directly to arrange the inspection and will offer the flexibility of either an in-person visit or an online/virtual inspection, depending on what best suits the business.
Beyond the inspection itself, our Technical Advisors are always available to discuss member-related issues and provide additional support as needed. Whether it is clarification on regulations, technical challenges, or general compliance queries, our team is committed to assisting members.
At SNIPEF, we want our member businesses to excel in their field. Our technical support services are a key part of that commitment, helping members maintain high standards, build confidence in compliance, and continue to deliver quality workmanship across the industry.
